The Tecumseh Indian Fan Club is proud to offer the Orange and Black Scholarships to Tecumseh Public Schools Student Athletes. These scholarships are part of the Tecumseh Indian Fan Club’s commitment to foster the development of student athletes while engaging in making their community and school a better place through volunteering efforts.
Two $500.00 Scholarships for Senior Student Athletes.
All Tecumseh Senior Student Athletes – Fall, Winter, Spring – eligible to apply.
Scholarship recipients will have logged 20 hours of volunteer time through events/concessions that the Tecumseh Indian Fan Club has sponsored. List of participating event/concessions will be given to Athletic Office to post for students to view.
Volunteer Hours must be approved by a Member of the Tecumseh Indian Fan Club. Member approving is not allowed to approve their own child’s hours. Another member needs to approve.
There will be a Tecumseh Indian Fan Club Scholarship Volunteer Hour Sheet in the Outdoor Football Concession and Indoor Concession. Hours must be logged, dated and signed by the Student Athlete – the sport he or she plays – and the Tecumseh Indian Fan Club Member.

Student Athlete must confirm that he/she has the 20 volunteer hours validated.
Student Athlete must write a 250-400 word essay about how being a Student Athlete has molded them into who they are today.
Student Athlete must hand in essay and copy of their 20 volunteer hours to the Athletic Office by April 10th by end of day.
Essays will be read by Tecumseh Indian Fan Club Members – student names will not be seen by Members.
Tecumseh Indian Fan Club will have winners name by their meeting on Wednesday, April 15.
Winners will be announced at the Senior Banquet 2017 – where two $500.00 scholarships will be presented to the deserving 2017 Student Athletes of Tecumseh Public Schools.
