The Tecumseh Indians men’s team competed at the Hillsdale Invitational on Saturday and placed second. The Most Outstanding Male Distance athlete award went to Alex Lammers and the Most Outstanding Male Sprinter award went to Payton Norkey.

Scoring first place for the men’s team was; Gabe Bechtol in Pole Vault with a height of14’3 with a meet record, Jacob Denison in the 400m with a time of 51.4 with a new meet record. Payton Norkey with a new meet record in both the 110H and 300 hurdles with a time of 14.86 and 40.23. The men’s 4x800m relay set a new meet record with a time of 8:24.56 Ian Thomsen, Alex Lammers, Eric Ries, Parker Hedrick, Parker Hedrick won the 800m with a time of 2:02.46. Men’s 4x 400m relay with a placed 1st with of 3:36 Eric Ries, Payton Norkey, Jacob Denison, Parker Hedrick. Alex Lammers won the 1600m with 4:44.5 and placed 2nd in the 3200m with 10:33.2. Ian Thomsen won the 3200m with a time of 10:15.0, Eric Ries placed 3rd in the 800m with 2:03.4. Men’s 4x200m relay placed first with a time of 1:34.6.
