Tecumseh Boys Lacrosse improves upon their undefeated season beating Ann Arbor Pioneer (SEC Red Crossover) by a score of 14-7. The Indians jumped out to a 5-1 Lead in the first quarter, to have Pioneer surge back to tie it up at 6 at half time. The Indians made great in game adjustments that was able to hold Pioneer’s 2x All-American Attackman Jack Reid to 1 goal in second half. The Defense played great team lacrosse with 4 players stepping up their game to stop Pioneer: Mike Burns, Ben Romanowski, Sam Dickerson, and Jalen Mireles frustrated Pioneers top two scorers, allowing Goalie Kobe Jennings to have a great game in net. The Pioneers also tried to multiple Techniques to try and stop senior Fernando Robison’s dominance at the faceoff x, to no avail with Robison winning 21 out of 24 face offs. Despite having a two time all American player on Ann Arbor Pioneer’s roster, two Indians dominated the offensive side of the field; Senior Ricky Amador (5 goals, 2 assists), and Dylan Day (6 goals, 2 assists). The Indians were able to control the ball on offense to win the second half by getting strong performances from : Drake Ringer, Blake Day, Collin Mueller, Ryan Moore, Andrew Ellis, Devin Macobmer, and Markus Dennis.
The 16-0 Tribe will return home on Monday May 14th to host Bedford on Senior Night.
