Tecumseh’s varsity boys basketball team has won two games in a row with their one-point win at home over Milan on December 22nd. A furious comeback by the Indians over the final two minutes helped erase a 7-point deficit. The final score ended up 49-48. With the win, Tecumseh moves to 2-3 on the season.
“We were flat a lot of the night. Alex Foss was playing well, but luckily, Drew Cameron came alive in the final couple minutes to put us over the top. Payton Norkey and Andrew Greene did a good job on Milan’s top scorer too. We need to get mulitiple guys playing well each night with our normal bench contributions, and we’ll win a lot of games,” commented Coach Mike Ruhl.
Statistically for Tecumseh were Alex Foss with 23 points on 9/9 FT and 9 rebounds; Drew Cameron with 11 points and 7 rebounds; Cormac Phelan with 7 points and 3 assists; Hayden Williams and Payton Norkey with 3 points each; and Bryce Colf with 2 points.
Tecumseh hosts Homer Wednesday night after the 5:30 JV tip.
