The Tecumseh Girls’ Golf Team fell just short of a victory over SEC Red Division powerhouses Saline and Ann Arbor Pioneer Friday, losing by only three and eight strokes, respectively. Freshman Volleyball traveled to Lincoln on Tuesday, defeating Lincoln; 25-9, 25-13, 15-11. On Thursday, they played in Onsted for a quad. Freshman defeated Ida: 25-11, 25-17; defeated Blissfield: 25-11, 25-23; & defeated Onsted: 25-20, 25-4. Their overall record is 15-3-3 (wins-loses-splits). Golf Dedicates Season

The Girls’ Golf Team steeled itself in an emotion-charged match and came away with a 186-192 victory over White Division foe Dexter Wednesday. The team dedicated this victory and the rest of the season to the memory of Donna Root, mother of fellow student and Tecumseh volleyball player Samantha Root, who died Monday of melanoma.
