Fowlerville was able to establish momentum offensively early, while Tecumseh struggled to find their footing. Tecumseh was held back by some penalties and miscues. After a rough start Tecumseh was able to play nearly even for the remainder of the game.

Game Summary

1Q

Fowlerville took the opening kickoff and drove down the field and scored on a running touchdown. Tecumseh answered with a strong drive of their own but had to punt near mid-field. Fowlerville again drove down for another rushing touchdown. Tecumseh's offense struggle on the following drive being forced to punt after a three and out. Fowlerville answered that stop with a long touchdown pass to close the quarter with a 20-0 lead.

Tecumseh's offense continued to struggle and was forced to punt on the opening series of the quarter. Tecumseh's defense worked hard and forced Fowlerville to go for it on a 4 and 1 from their 1 yard line. Fowlerville was able to get the ball across the line for another rushing touchdown. Tecumseh's offense then fumbled a snap into the end zone giving Fowlerville a 34-0 lead. Being resilient Tecumseh's offense drove down the field as time ran out in the first half.

Tecumseh received the ball to start the quarter and had a solid drive that was stopped due to penalties. The defense stood strong forcing Fowlerville to turn the ball over on downs. Again Tecumseh's offense moved the ball as time expired in the quarter.

4Q

Tecumseh had gained momentum to end the 3rd quarter and were able to score a touch down on a six yard Alex Lawson run to make the score 34-6. The remainder of the game was a defensive battle with Fowlerville scoring a late touchdown.

Game Recap

The JV team lost a wet and sloppy football game at Fowlerville. Mychal Bryan and Trey Strand played well on Tecumseh’s interior defense while the four linebackers of Jonah Coker, Connor Steele, Trent Tidswell, and Brendan Bagby played tough. Tecumseh’s lone touchdown came after the defense forced a turnover inside the 5 yard and line. Jacob Alderman then connected with Sean Kelly for a Tecumseh 8 yard touchdown pass. The JV team will finish up their year at Airport.

Meet Recap

Tecumseh swam Pinckney for the first time in SEC competition. Tecumseh fought hard and was winning for most of the meet. Tecumseh won 8 of the 12 events. The team had 12 personal bests. Tecumseh looks forward to seeing them at the SEC meet in November to compete again. On Saturday, the girls will compete in the MISCA meet held at EMU. This meet gives the chance for all Divisions to come together and compete against the best in the state!

Game Recap

Tecumseh’s offense worked hard all day but wasn’t able to convert in key situations. The defense played well but was on the field for too many snaps and eventually give up some points. Chelsea played a solid game and put a lot of pressure on the Tecumseh team, who overall played well just wasn’t able to get a few brakes.

Game Summary

1Q

Tecumseh came out strong and started on offense. They moved the ball well on their opening drive but threw an interception giving Chelsea the ball deep in their own territory. Two plays later Chelsea scored on a running play. Tecumseh's defense played hard and held the score 6-0 through the quarter.

2Q

Chelsea opened the quarter with a long drive resulting in a running TD. Tecumseh had a good second offensive drive that stalled and was forced to punt. Chelsea then drove for another running TD. Tecumseh offense again drove the ball deep into Chelsea's territory but turned it over on downs. Chelsea was able to then take the ball and score on a long pass play before half.

3Q

Tecumseh's defense came out strong holding Chelsea forcing them to turn the ball over on downs. Chelsea was able to then force Tecumseh to turn the ball over on downs. On the following drive Chelsea was able to complete a long drive with a running TD.

4Q

This quarter was a defensive battle with neither team able to produce much yardage. Both teams turned the ball over on downs on multiple drives.

The JV team hosted Dexter and won 26 to 14. Christian Nieto connected with Mason Malinczak for three touchdown passes to lead the offense. Jacob Parros and Trent Tidswell were the leading rushers picking up tough yards on the ground. Parros also added an interception on defense. The JV team will travel to Fowlerville next Thursday evening.

Tecumseh played hard and was in the game throughout. They made some mistakes with a punt block and interception both returned for a touchdown that lead to a deficit that they could not overcome. Overall, Tecumseh was able to show improvement on both sides of the ball during the game.

2Q

Tecumseh's offense opened the quarter with a long offensive drive capped off with a short touchdown pass from Christian Neito to John Wilson making the score 12-7. Tecumseh's defense came out strong and forced a fumble on a punt giving the offense the ball deep in Pinckney territory. The offense moved it well but lost possession on an interception that lead to a TD for Pinckney. After a missed field goal attempt by Tecumseh, Pinckney answered with another long TD pass giving them a 21-12 halftime lead.

Tecumseh started the second half with the ball but only after three plays turned it over with an interception. Tecumseh's defense played well and forced Pinckney to turn the ball over on down. Pinckney was able to stop the offense and forced a punt that they blocked and returned for a touchdown. Tecumseh answered that score with a quick drive themselves capping it off with a short TD run by Christian Neito.

Tecumseh could not get the offense going and turned the ball over on another interception. The defense held strong but gave up a late touchdown in the quarter.
